Cheese Scones
An ideal choice for a quick and tasty snack or as an addition to a hot drink.

Add baking powder and salt to the flour. Mix it up.
Cut the butter into cubes and add the flour.
Rub the butter into the flour with your fingers until you get a crumbly mixture.
Add pepper, grated cheese and mix.
At the end, add the milk and stir to combine everything.
Transfer the dough to the work surface and gently roll it into a rectangle. Fold in half, then separate the opening and repeat the folding once more. The dough should be 2 cm thick, so form it into a rectangle after folding.
Cut the rectangle in half lengthwise. Then, with a sharp knife, cut each side of the rectangle into triangles - scones. You will get 4 large or 8 small scones from each page.
Arrange the scones on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the rest of the grated Zdenka cheese with truffles on top and bake for 25-30 minutes until they get a nice golden color.
