A wonderful recipe for the most beautiful Christmas atmosphere.

  • 300 grams of chocolate
  • 80 grams of butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 160 grams of plain and 160 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • powdered sugar
  • Melt the chocolate and butter over a double boiler.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt until the mixture is foamy.
  • Add the melted chocolate to the egg mixture and mix until combined.
  • Add the flour and baking powder and mix until smooth.
  • Cover the mixture and leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, ideally overnight.
  • Shape the cooled mixture into balls and roll them generously in powdered sugar.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for exactly 10 minutes so that they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
